Day in the life, Writing process

Fiction Binging…Yes, Guilty as Charged!

saul

Failed to post to this blog last night because I got caught up in watching the last six episodes of Better Call Saul, Season Two.

It was nearly five o’clock in the morning when I finally stumbled into bed.

Not a teenager anymore, Gladys…should have gone to bed sooooo much sooner!

😀

Ah well, loved the storyline. I was right, the brother is an a$$hole, pure and simple. Jimmy knows it deep down, but I think that he also thinks he deserves it deep down.

Again, great series, if you get a chance to watch it, do.

Season 3 is slated to be out in April, so this spring will be fun!

The Writing

Got some writing done, but not on the short story I was working on…went back to my Jazz and Slade story.

I like Jazz, she’s fun…

In my mind I always picture her like a young Reba McEntire. 😀

So far I’m at plus 10,000 words on this story, so might end up being a novella or a novel, we’ll see.

I’m going to watch a live webinar, God willing, tomorrow, on Story Engines, with Nick Stephenson and Joe Nassise.

Although I’m a pantser, I like the idea of having a framework to help me as I go…kind of like training wheels 😛 so I’m going to give it a go.

I’m still working out the best methods of writing, scheduling my time, etc., to discover what works for me.

I’ll let you guys know how it goes tomorrow!
