NaNoWriMo Rebel??

Yep.

My current WIP, In His Name is at about 10,000+ words now.

I do believe it’s the longest story I’ve written so far and I’m nowhere near finished with the telling of it.

In fact, I’m thinking it’s probably going to end up being about the size of a novel.

So, considering the time of year it is, unless I’ve wrapped it up before November, it may end up being my NaNoWriMo novel.

Which means, of course, that if I’m to abide by the rules – and I will – it will need to be another 50,000 words on top of whatever I’ve written by then.

Oy.

Otherwise, plan B is to write some short stories after I’m done with the novel, to equal the required 50k words.

While I’d like to “win” NaNoWriMo, what’s more important to me is that I finish my stories, get them published, and get into a solid routine of writing 5 manuscript pages per day. That’s about 1,250 words, or 2 or so hours.

If other writers can do it, by God I can too!
