Argh!!
Upgraded my hosting account so that all of my stuff can be in one place.
The move, as you can see from the looks of this poor little blog didn’t go so well.
Thankfully, everything was moved over, but for some reason the images aren’t showing as they should.
But…
That’s not what’s driving me nuts.
What’s driving me nuts is the need to be pragmatic when I’d rather play in fiction land. (of course, you could say the current state of things in the world IS fiction land, but that’s another blog post entirely! 😉
Keeping it real…
You see, I decided to change my copywriting focus, which necessitates me completely redoing my other website, taking a deep dive on lead generation (which is the service I’m offering my clients now), and all around increasing my knowledge in the realm of all things marketing.
While I LOVE to learn new things, and marketing is kinda neat, I’ve gotta admit, I’m dying here…
I decided on this change because of the financial goals I’ve set for myself, and because it’s a more sure route to do commercial writing than writing fiction.
But I miss my fiction writing.
Yeah, I know, I know, do both.
I told myself that it can wait until I get better paying clients, but in reality, I hate not writing MY stuff.
Bitch and moan, bitch and moan, right?
Just do it.
If people can work a “regular” fulltime job what the heck’s my problem, right?
It’s all between the ears, fellas…all between the ears…
So writers, how do you manage your fiction writing around the rest of your obligations?
