Can’t believe I haven’t posted anything for nearly a month.
Wow…
But, rather than fret about how little I’ve been here, and/or working on my fiction, I’ll remind myself that life happens, and keep on plugging away at it.
Busy day today, and since it’s late this won’t be long…just a quick update.
On the story Visitor to Blue Lake: A Jazz and Slade Story, I feel like I’m getting close to the end. It’s a rather long short story so far…more than 8 thousands words in…so I’m guessing it will be around 10 or 12 thousand by the time I’m done.
But that’s only a guess…could be shorter, could be longer…part of the fun of writing into the dark!
Deadline is next weekend, so I’ve really got to get busy!
Then, after that I’ll be on the hunt for a beta reader…any takers? 😀
I’ll catch up on where all of my lovely blog followers are at in their lives tomorrow, and hopefully have much more to say then as well.
