Day Eight of the “Blog Streak” and still have no idea of a better title for these posts. I’ll have a thought or two tomorrow about it while I’m thinking about next year.
I remember so vividly – which is odd for me because I have the memory of a gnat – thinking about the year 2000 when I was still a teenager in the 80s. I remember thinking about how “old” I would be should I live to that year.
Funny how time gives us perspective.
I don’t consider myself “old”, although I’m sure that 51 would have seemed quite ancient to me had I thought about reaching this age.
No doubt you’ve heard about John Glenn passing away recently. I wonder what it must have been like to be among the first to orbit the Earth, knowing that you might only ever get one opportunity.
What do you do with that?
He was young when that happened so what do you do to beat that?
Do it again at age 77 of course! lol
