Yes, I’m delving into the foolishness that is NaNoWriMo!
I’ve NEVER won it, BUT…I will this time.
I’ll win it, no matter whether or not I’m able to finish 50K words, but my plan is to write every day.
No matter what.
So, towards that end, today I wrote 100 words.
That’s good, in my book, because today I had to:
- Buy groceries and a long miscellaneous list of stuff for the household
- Take care of the family; including cooking dinner
- Get my client work done (PRIORITY)
So I’ll take it.
I knew that life would get in the way today because I always buy groceries and miscellaneous on the first day of the month, so it was planned.
The Story
The same story that’s been rattling around my brain for years, only now it’s become a Christian horror story.
At least, that’s how it’s starting out, but time will tell where this story wants to go.
Now, off to get some sleep so I can get up early to get some fiction in before I start client work.
That’s the plan anyway.
I’ll consider myself to have won NaNoWriMo if I write SOMETHING every day on my story.
Even if it’s nothing but a paragraph, I’ll take it, because the whole thing is getting into the habit.
